Flowerbed

VOBB block are used for the walls of a flowerbed (instead of wood which rots, etc.)

VOBB block are laid on a simple two inch thick flat concrete pad - no footing is laid for simplicity

The cement mix with pea gravel was poured in the VOBB block dry with water sprayed in from a water hose at the same time to save on the cost of labor - this method works.

Rebar is added to give extra strenth - a lot of value for low cost.

On the first day of construction, the corners are filled with grout and every other cavity. The next day, all of the other cavities will be filled for extra strength. Likewise, a topping can be set on top of the VOBB block for a beautiful landscape look.
