VOBB® Concrete Blocks - Concrete Wall Construction for Better Built Homes/Buildings

VOBB® concrete blocks are dry stacked to create custom homes/buildings which are simple, strong and affordable. Our interlocking concrete blocks create a unique patented concrete block building system specially designed for wall construction in custom-built homes and quality cost-effective built commercial buildings. The VOBB® owner enjoys many advantages not available to owners of wood-built homes/buildings.

ADVANTAGES OF THE BLOCK WALL BUILT WITH VOBB® CONCRETE BLOCKS (compared to wood frame building):

  • VOBB® concrete blocks are non-combustible.
  • There is no damage to VOBB® concrete blocks or the block wall by termites.
  • There is never any wood rot to VOBB® concrete blocks or the block wall.
  • VOBB® concrete blocks create block walls that are able to withstand stronger winds. (A concrete block wall is 500% stronger than wood-built.)
  • There is substantially reduced noise level with a VOBB® concrete wall.
  • VOBB® concrete blocks, with the applicable insulation, provide great value in reducing utility costs.

After using your VOBB® concrete blocks to build your home, you can finish the exterior with brick, stucco, siding, etc. There is no difference in the external appearance of a VOBB® home and that of a conventional home/building. Then you can completely hide VOBB® concrete blocks from the exterior and interior of the home.

REDUCED LABOR COST OF INSTALLATION USING VOBB® CONCRETE BLOCKS

Lightweight aggregate VOBB® concrete blocks are easily assembled horizontally with VOBB® clips in a dry-stack offset method. Rebar and concrete are added to the cavities except for where electrical and plumbing are run. As such, rebar and grout give the concrete walls its enormous strength. By using VOBB® concrete blocks which can be rapidly installed, a significant amount of time and money can be saved in building high-quality custom homes or commercial buildings.

  • Labor costs on custom-built homes using VOBB® concrete blocks are substantially reduced because:
  • the VOBB® concrete blocks can be assembled by BOTH masons and non-masons at a much cheaper cost.
  • assembly of the concrete blocks is much simpler and faster since grout is used only inside the cavities of the blocks (with no weak mortar joint).
  • a pump can be used to replace the (expensive) manual labor of pouring the grout inside the cavities.
